I think you're looking for the Right-click Tools, also known as SMS Console Extensions; which isn't the same thing as SMS Toolkit 2. The right-click tools aren't an official Microsoft offering, but are scripts, etc., put together by fellow SMS Admins like yourself just trying to make everyone's

umm... There are two things here. 1) "Last 1000 message for a specific computer (Error and Warnings)" is only SMS / ConfigMgr errors not system errors, and therefore will not give you what you want. 2) You could import into SMS all of the Events within the Event logs using an sms_def.mof edit, however I would not recommend it due to the sheer

I think I might be duplicating this question, but can I use SMS 2003 to show me all ?errors? and/or ?warnings? in the Windows event logs (Application, System, Security) in some type of summary report? I?ve looked at tools like GFI and Event tracker, but I?d rather use SMS since I already have it.

one more question, we added the help desk staff to the permissions list for remote control, but the client did not know about the change till we initiated the actions on the action tab of the client we tested with. Can you tell me whick action on the client needs to be run to propagate the new permissions?
